Yes. Making, editing and saving videos is free. Free videos carry a small watermark. For Reel Pro, available monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase, removes the watermark and saves in top quality up to 4K. Prices are shown in the app.
Can I post For Reel videos on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube?
Yes. The music library is made up of original tracks made for For Reel, so you can share the videos you make anywhere. Pick 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, or 16:9 for YouTube.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. For Reel does all of its work on your iPhone. Your photos are not uploaded, and you don't need an account.
How does it choose which photos to use?
It groups photos by the days you were away and the hours they were taken, then fills the length you picked with the better shots. Blurry frames, near-duplicate bursts, receipts and screenshots are left out. You can reorder and trim everything afterwards.
